Cath Kidston Nails

Decided to try out the very popular Cath Kidston nail design. Now for me, it it s alittle too pretty as I'm not so keen on pink and all that but anyway, I am kinda pleased with how it turned out! I painted each nail apart from the ring finger pink and then painted the ring finger a pale blue. To make the polka dots, I used my smallest sized dotting tool and placed white dots all over each pink nail.

Now the roses were a lot more tricky and I'm still not pleased with how messy they look. I placed a dollop of red and white nail varnish next to eachother so that the colours had just joined. Then it was a case of dipping the dotting tool right in the middle of where the colours meet. This will create the rose effect and then its just a case of swirling it around until youre happy with how it looks. The leaves were a mint green colour from Collection 2000 which was very icky at the time so it made it difficut for it to look good! Finish with a top coat and you're good to go!

  2. These look so good! I thought the flowered pattern on your ring finger was done with those nail wrap kits, they look so good! My attempts would definitely not look that good! xx
